About Christine

Christine Busini is a native New Yorker and graduate of Hunter College with a BA in dance and communications. She has been an ACE certified personal trainer since 1996, working with clients in private gyms and in their homes. As a professional dancer, she brings a special focus to her personal training style, concentrating on balance, alignment and body awareness.

Christine's clients come to her because she believes most importantly in helping them build strong healthy bodies. "In my opinion the best looking bodies are those of dancers and swimmers. They have long lean well defined muscles, not bulk."

Christine also believes nutrition is a critical part of the total picture and must be incorporated into the daily fitness regime. The key to loosing weight and staying healthy consists of two very simple components, portion control and energy expenditure. In other words "put out more energy than you take in".

Women of the baby boomer generation are of special interest to Christine. These ladies between the ages of 40-60+ have very specific concerns. Some examples are: osteoporosis, the onset of arthritis, balance issues, muscle toning, menopausal symptoms, post pregnancy weight gain, changes in body fat distribution, abdominal toning, and recovery from surgeries such as breast cancer and joint replacements. Christine addresses these needs with specially designed programs.

Obesity among children is also a main concern for so many parents today. With her "Fitplay" certification, Christine has worked with numerous children helping them loose weight, develop healthy lifestyles and have fun doing it!
